Village gardens were open and there were refreshments and music. What a wonderful event - three days of glorious sunshine and many, many visitors. Click here for pictures from the Festival Porthpyra Singers  This concert held on 25th May was one of a series held under the auspices of the BBC's 'Music Live' - 25th / 29th May. Thursday 22nd June - Looe Community SchoolA concert featuring the Looe Community School Orchestra and Singers. Sunday 2nd July - Scawns Mill GardenBy kind permission of Mrs Annie Ball, Scawns Mill Garden, Nr St Pinnock, was open to the public. Sunday 16th July - St Mewan SinfoniaA concert featuring the St Mewan Sinfonia was held in the Church. Saturday 12th August - All Saints Summer FeteAlways a popular event, the Summer Fete in this 150th anniversary year was something special. The grounds of the Old Vicarage were packed to capacity and the weather was kind as usual. Pictures here. Sunday 1st October - 150th Anniversary EvensongA very special Evensong at which the Bishop of Truro was present to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the building of the Church. Pictures here. Saturday 21st October - A Walk Through TimeThis general interest walk around Herodsfoot, conducted by Sally Hall, attracted quite a crowd! The walk was extremely informative and was rounded off with tea at the White House afterwards. Pictures here.
